One Down.

It is with great pride that today I announce to my few, precious readers, that my debut novel ‘Among The Dead’ is finally complete.

Suffice it to say I am over the bloody moon.

It’s been a long, hard road, with several thematic rewrites and two major drafts in total, but it’s done and I’m as happy with it as I’m ever going to get. I don’t believe novels are ever truly finished in the minds of their authors, only abandoned.

So with the dark violent world of The Black Metropolis set up, it’s on to book two.

To those of you who’ve read the various excerpts I’ve posted to Darkgingerbread and commented – a heartfelt ‘Thank you!!’ from the bottom of my black, twisted heart. Your input has been invaluable.

Self doubt plagues all writers, I believe. Therefore the community I have been honoured to be part of, since setting up my page, have all played a part in keeping me strong, lending fortitude to the fight.

Now I just got to find the funds to print you all a copy.
